Sorry David Guetta but Rita Ora is the most searched for Oxegen artist on Google in Ireland, and Fatboy Slim, you better make way for Kodaline as the Electric Picnic (EP) headliner based on Google searches. These are just some of the stats Discovery, the data, insights and planning unit of our agency, have uncovered for this brand new festival infographic.

The infographic provides a detailed breakdown of the Irish digital audience for the two festivals. Unsurprisingly the Oxegen Facebook audience skews younger while their top 3 brands are Skittles, Forever 21 and River Island. The highest penetration of Facebook likes for the EP audience can be found in Portlaoise, with 12% of all Portlaoise Facebook users liking the festival, followed by Carlow (on 6%) and Mullingar (5%). Three Irish bands make up the Top 5 most searched for bands on the EP line up – joining Kodaline are Little Green Cars in 3rd and Two Door Cinema Club in 4th.
