The object of our microsite for Trócaire was to fulfill their statement of intent “Until Love Conquers Fear” and show how people’s donations are helping those in need, and giving a human face to those being helped.
People who donate would be led to the microsite where they would see where their money is going, who it is helping, and what else they can do to help.
We used both their stories they created for the TV campaign and relevant real-life stories available on their website to create an experience where they see the areas their donations are helping.
We split the microsite into sections relating to:
Emergency (Syria), Women (Rwanda), Food & Water (Kenya), Human Rights (Honduras) and See how your donations are helping (Sierra Leone)
Under each heading is a brief breakdown of the effects of the problem in a specific country, and what Trócaire has done and is doing to help.
We selected strong, impactful images and simple, emotive copy to tell the stories under each pillar and gave the site a soundscape of ominous music to make it a fully immersive experience.
